Summary: In the Big Apple, Joey is planning something special for Dawson helped by Sam and Ethan, and she can’t help but feel frustrated when her boyfriend is stuck on the other side of the country. Pacey, who is back in Capeside, realizes that coming home is not exactly what he expected. Meanwhile, Jack is just working and continuing with his normal life, that includes as much of Amy as possible.

Summary: Joey gets a promotion at work and is thrown a cocktail party to celebrate her success. Not feeling well, she asks Dawson to take her home, which ultimately leads her to make a surprising confession. A normal day for Jack is interrupted by a crisis involving Amy, which could have disastrous results. Meanwhile, Pacey is enjoying his new job in New Orleans but after a night in town with his boss, he is starting to reconsider certain things he has done in the past. Back in NY city, Samantha and Ethan's relationship continues to grow.
